The following seminar shares the learning's and outcomes from the recent OLT grant led by UOW - ‘Integrating Indigenous student support through Indigenous perspectives embedded in engineering curricula’. Exploring a modelled approach developed in collaboration with Yuin Elders and Knowledge Holders, the focus of this session will be built around examples and experiences of the appropriate Aboriginal frameworks for deconstructing learning and embedding authentic Aboriginal perspectives and knowledges through engagement with Community. This is an introductory seminar for those wanting to develop the foundational understandings for embedding Aboriginal Knowledges and perspectives into their subjects, courses and curricula.
